Daniel Reiser
Daniel Reiser is the Founder and Principal at Studio DanReiser, a multidisciplinary collaborative studio.
Studio DanReiser is a multidisciplinary practice at the intersection of public art, contemporary art, and museum exhibition design. Founded by artist, designer, and project manager Daniel Reiser, the studio is defined by a long, proven track record of delivering complex projects at the highest professional level. Collaboration lies at the heart of the studio’s ethos: Daniel works closely with artists, architects, engineers, fabricators, curators, and museum teams to translate creative visions into precise, fully realized works.
The studio brings exceptional expertise in solving challenging design and installation problems for large-scale public artworks and museum environments. Daniel’s skills include engineering coordination, advanced fabrication processes, lighting strategy, material development, and LiDAR-based spatial analysis—tools that allow the studio to collaborate fluidly across disciplines and ensure artworks integrate seamlessly into architectural spaces. His extensive exhibition-design experience includes major contributions to institutions such as the Guggenheim Museum (New York and Bilbao), Queens Museum, and the Frist Art Museum. In each project, Daniel’s collaborative approach has been essential—working hand-in-hand with institutional teams to shape immersive visitor experiences, refine spatial and material solutions, and orchestrate intricate installations.
This consistent track record of excellence through collaboration defines the studio’s reputation for reliability, innovation, and problem-solving.
Parallel to this work, Daniel maintains an active contemporary art practice. His work has been exhibited at the influential John Gibson Gallery in New York, a pioneering venue known for its role in conceptual and post-minimalist art. Being part of this program placed Daniel in conversation with major sculptural voices and inspired his ongoing exploration of hybrid sculptural forms, cinematic environments, and architecturally responsive installations. This dual identity—as both artist and designer—deepens the studio’s collaborative instincts, enabling Daniel to understand creative intent from the inside while partnering seamlessly with others to execute sophisticated technical and spatial solutions.
Today, Studio DanReiser continues to collaborate with cultural institutions, architects, and artists on public art commissions, museum exhibitions, immersive installations, and architectural integrations. The studio’s track record of successful national and international collaborations includes design development, contract and budget evaluation, engineering oversight, fabrication coordination, installation management, and long-term planning. Whether guiding artists through complex fabrication processes, partnering with museums to shape exhibition environments, or aligning with architects and engineers on ambitious public installations, Studio DanReiser provides a holistic, deeply collaborative, and highly experienced approach—grounded in decades of practice and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
